Histio Shmistio
When LJ was only three months old we discovered tumors in his lungs, brain, and spine. Multiple scans and surgeries later he was diagnosed with ALK positive histiocytosis, a rare form of an already rare disease. He faced three years of chemotherapy and many more scans, surgeries, and hospital stays. His future was frighteningly uncertain. Now LJ is almost nine and in third grade. He is clever, chaotic, kind, and hilarious. He plays drums, loves hard, and has never met a stranger. Thanks to the support of the Histiocytosis Association and the research they fund- LJ is living every moment and his future is bright.
We are again participating in the Histio Hike and raising money that will go directly to funding more research and supporting more families and more kids like LJ. Every dollar goes towards this mission and your support is deeply appreciated.
One-hundred percent of donations go to the Histiocytosis Association in support of its mission and programs.
