Conference Overview

We are excited to host the 2023 Conference on Histiocytic Disorders, on Saturday, September 23rd in New York, New York and online in a virtual capacity. The agenda includes talks covering all histiocytic disorders, information on clinical trials and registries, emotional support, well-being, and diagnosing histiocytosis. The Histiocytosis Association is grateful to be partnering with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to bring you this educational opportunity and forum to connect with other patients, families, and physicians. 
 
Open to all impacted by a histiocytic disorder. Medical profesionals are welcome to attend any and all talks. 
 
Registration for the event is required and the nominal registration fee covers some of the costs associated with the speakers, venue, refreshments, and technology. More information about the full agenda, topics, additional speakers, and networking opportunities will be communicated as we get closer to the event. Speakers to include: Eli Diamond, M.D., Michael Jordan, M.D., Christopher Forlenza, M.D. and sessions to cover all histiocytic disorders and related topics.

Travel Scholarships Available - Limited Quantity

We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of travel scholarships to patients/caregivers to help offset the cost of travel to attend the conference in person. 
 

The travel scholarship is meant for those individuals who would not be able to cover the cost for their travel and participation fully. Assistance is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To be eligible to receive travel assistance, please complete and submit the Travel Scholarship Application no later than Friday, August 18, 2023. Please note that due to limited funds, all requests may not be approved. 

Scholarship decisions will be announced by Wednesday, August 25th.

Stay the weekend and join us for the 2nd Annual Histio Blue Ribbon Run! We are excited to host an in-person family-friendly group Run on Sunday, September 24th in Astoria Park. Be a part of the NYC Blue Ribbon Run team and help us take steps toward better understanding and a cure for histiocytic disorders. 

This event runs all September long to honor Histiocytosis Awareness Month and support patients and families impacted by histiocytic disorders. Together, let's spread awareness and conquer histio, one step at a time!
